چکیده

Abstract This study aimed to detect carbapenemase genes and determine the in vitro susceptibility of Ceftazidime-Avibactam (CZA) Enterobacterales isolates. Carbapenemase were detected by polymerase chain reaction. CZA sensitivity isolates was evaluated with broth microdilution (BMD) disk diffusion methods. A total 318 carbapenem-resistant included. Most ( n = 290, 91.2%) identified as Klebsiella pneumoniae . The most common type OXA-48 82, 27.6%). 84 KPC activity. Both BMD methods revealed that 95.2% sensitive CZA; whereas, 4 (4.76%) resistant CZA. Among colistin isolates, 96.5% 80) them susceptible Our demonstrated high efficacy producing carbapenemase. High rates against which generally are also pan drug resistant, makes a promising therapeutic choice for difficult-to-treat infections. Due its correlation BMD, method is suitable more practical detecting

Molecular Characterization of Carbapenem-Nonsusceptible Enterobacterial Isolates Collected during a Prospective Interregional Survey in France and Susceptibility to the Novel Ceftazidime-Avibactam and Aztreonam-Avibactam Combinations.

An interregional surveillance program was conducted in the northwestern part of France to determine the prevalence of carbapenem-nonsusceptible Enterobacteriaceae (CNSE) isolates and their susceptibility to ceftazidime-avibactam and aztreonam-avibactam combinations. Nonduplicate CNSE clinical isolates were prospectively collected from six hospitals between June 2012 and November 2013. MICs of c...
